Space for Grace - Unfair

‘your journey, your sacrifice, your desire, your space; for His grace.’

In the morning, there was no small commotion among the soldiers as to what had become of Peter.  After Herod had a thorough search made for him and did not find him, he cross-examined the guards and ordered that they be executed. Then Herod went from Judea to Caesarea and stayed there. Acts 12:18-19

Soldiers just doing their job had no chance to stop the Lord who rescued Peter. These soldiers were bound to obey and being at the wrong place at the wrong time, they were found to have failed their duty, and were executed.

Was this unfair?

Give to the Lord again those things that are unfair to you. Give those things to the Lord that cause you frustration, resentment and emptiness. Give means to share and speak them out before the Lord.
