Change of Heart

The changes in medical procedures always amaze me. Having been caught up with some of these new processes in latter times I have been thankful for improvements to my health. One of the "big things" for today is in the area of organ replacement. People are asked to donate organs at their death, & there is always a need for blood to support life in those who loose theirs by accident or operation. One of the early major transplants was for the heart, & this is now a fairly routine event.

The OT has much to say about blood sacrifice of animals for the sin of the people. We are commanded to not drink the blood of any creature because, “the life of every creature is its blood" (Lev 17:14.) It is incredible what can be found out about you by having blood tests. GOD is in the business of changing hearts & today we look at two people who had major heart changes. Each with different outcomes. I am reminded also that the blood of JESUS keeps on cleansing from sin. If you need a heart change, then faith in the finished work of JESUS on the cross can bring that on.
