Welcome

Welcome to our community we know as Church.  Our heart is to be a generational Church of the nations.  Everything we do aims to share Jesus and become more like Jesus. You are welcome - all ages and stages of life, and especially in these times, to join with us in community.

We gather together at 10am Sunday at 88 Lockwood Road Burnside. Our service generally goes for an hour and a half and you are invited to stay for morning tea afterwards. If you are feeling unwell, you can always watch our service live.

Our desire is to build each other up and make a difference for the Lord to bring Him glory. We welcome you to connect with us. We are all one in Christ.

Ways to connect

Gathering on Sunday at 10.00a to worship the Lord is one of the ways we connect with Jesus, one another and our community. We also have Korean worship services and connect through Korean and Tamil bible studies.

During the week, all ages come together with BF Playgroup for pre-school toddlers, primary school aged Kids Club and high school plus Youth Group. The Seniors also gather for activities and connection.

We have prayer and bible study groups meeting here and in homes through the week. We enjoy the opportunity to gather together and make every effort to experience the peace of God we have through Jesus. We are hoping you might find some of these ways to connect also!

Sundays & what to expect?

The reason we gather together is to worship the Lord, encourage one another and live in community. Our services start at 10.00a finishing between 11.15-11.30a.

As you enter from the Lockwood Road entrance doors, you will be greeted and invited to sit anywhere you like. We usually begin with worship and singing, followed by remember Jesus around the Communion table. After some prayer and brief announcements, Primary School children are invited to join BF Kids, and High School young people gather for 10:40 Group.

After the Word is shared, we move out to the Rear Hall for morning tea after the service.

If you need a little more space, we also offer a ‘Family Room’ environment in the Rear Hall which has a live stream creating a Cafe or Messy Church type environment.

Operation Christmas Child

Collection has now ended so… start saving up resources for next year now!

But please continue to pray for the children who will receive these gifts. That their lives and their families’ lives will be touched in a mighty way by the love of Jesus and that they will come to know Him and trust in Him!

Hymn Service

Join us for another Hymn Service - a special, more traditional style service where the songs we sing are only traditional hymns.

Come and enjoy the annual Christmas Pageant on Norwood parade. Better still, be involved!
